GREAT DEAL: Pittsburgh Steelers Sign Aaron Rodgers and Ready to Draft…

As things currently stand, the Pittsburgh Steelers are set to begin the season with Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson as their quarterbacks.

Despite making efforts to bring in new talent, the team hasn’t been able to add another quarterback this offseason, marking the second consecutive year they’ve completely overhauled their QB room. Their public pursuit of Aaron Rodgers led many to believe he would eventually sign, allowing the team to gear up for the upcoming season with him at the helm.

However, Rodgers has yet to make a decision.

His continued indecision is casting a shadow over the Steelers’ offseason plans, and it appears that some within the organization are starting to lose patience. According to James Palmer of Bleacher Report, there’s growing frustration in the Steelers front office. Speaking during a livestream, Palmer shared that while many are still staying patient, some individuals — possibly even players — are becoming increasingly frustrated as they await Rodgers’ choice. Palmer added that many still see Pittsburgh as the most likely destination for Rodgers, but the team may begin to apply pressure on him as the NFL Draft approaches.

Due to the underwhelming quarterback talent in this year’s draft and the team’s focus on Rodgers, the Steelers now find themselves with limited options. It remains uncertain whether they’ll have a starting-caliber quarterback in place by the time the season begins.
