The Green Bay Packers’ position group, which was once among the greatest in sports, now appears to be in disarray as the offseason begins.
Christian Watson’s ACL tear in Week 18 will most certainly keep him out of action for some time. Romeo Doubs missed four games in 2024 due to multiple concussions, one of which terminated his season in a playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
With all of this said, Eric Fischer of FanSided outlined how Chris Godwin may arrive in Green Bay:

This may be a stretch, but hear me out. Chris Godwin is a free agent, although he is coming off an ankle injury that limited his 2024 season to only seven games.
During that span, Godwin had 50 receptions for 576 yards and five touchdowns, putting him third in touchdowns, fifth in yards, and tied for second in catches for the 2024 Packers. And he accomplished it in less than half a season.
At 6-foot-1, Godwin has blistering speed, having run a 4.42 40 at the NFL Combine before being picked by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Packer fans are familiar with Godwin. In his last two games versus Green Bay, he has 15 receptions for 265 yards.
Godwin is concerned about his health as he prepares for his 29th season. He has previously undergone ACL and ankle surgery as a result of the injury sustained this season. However, if you can tempt him away from Tampa Bay, he may be an excellent addition to this team.
