Davante Adams is now available on the open market after the New York Jets decided to release the star wide receiver ahead of next Wednesday’s deadline.
This makes Adams a free agent for the first time in his career, possibly paving the way for a return to the Green Bay Packers, the team that drafted him in 2014.
DraftKings lists the Packers as the favorites with +190 odds to sign Adams, followed by the Los Angeles Chargers at +500. The San Francisco 49ers (+650), Los Angeles Rams (+750), Pittsburgh Steelers (+950), and both the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots (+1000) are also in the running.
A potential reunion with the Las Vegas Raiders, where Adams spent two seasons, is listed at 12-1 odds.
Adams’ future could be influenced by quarterback Aaron Rodgers, with the New York Giants currently favored at -150 to land Rodgers, sparking speculation that Adams may join his former teammate if Rodgers moves.
With free agency now in full swing, Adams’ next decision could significantly impact the 2025 NFL season.
