BREAKING NEWS: 4-star class of 2026 Miami LB commit flip to Auburn Tigers…

Roc Bellantoni was formally named Auburn’s outside linebackers coach earlier this month, after the program had to make many staffing changes this offseason due to coaches leaving for other jobs.

Bellantoni formerly worked for Auburn under Bryan Harsin and was the defensive coordinator at Florida Atlantic for the past two seasons. When Bellantoni returned to the Plains, he immediately began recruiting 4-star linebacker Jordan Campbell.

Campbell, from Opa Locka, Florida, is regarded as the No. 4 linebacker in the 2026 recruiting class and the No. 10 prospect from the Sunshine State. He committed to Miami in November 2023, but his recruitment remains open.

The 4-star linebacker returned to the Plains for the second time on Friday, before heading to Alabama and Georgia.

“When [Bellantoni] first got the job, me and him had a conversation about me getting up there and my film and everything,” Campbell told Auburn Rivals. “It means everything to me. That just shows a lot of interest in what they have and how much they believe in me as a football player and who I claim to be.”

Campbell received a tour of the facilities, but the highlight of his visit was learning about the defense he would play in if he joined the Plans.

“My favorite part today was probably just showing us off what they can do for us, how they can make our body look in one year, how they can change my body in one year,” Campbell told us. “Basically, just telling me about their scheme, defenses, and things that I’m comfortable playing. They run as a 3-4. I enjoy playing and prefer the 3-3-5. They’re a 4–2 team. They’re truly a multi-defense, and I’m used to playing in different defenses.”

The Tigers will hold a large Junior Day recruiting event next weekend, and Campbell says he may return to Auburn football for the third time.
