Following the life-changing phone call with Detroit head coach Dan Campbell, Hassanei dropped to one knee and proposed—making his draft day even more unforgettable.

Hassanei also left a strong impression with his emotional message to Campbell, telling him, “I’ll die for you, coach. I will die on that field for you. I promise I would.” The clip of their conversation has since gone viral, racking up over 350,000 views on X.

At Boise State, Hassanei recorded 22 sacks over his final two seasons, showcasing his talent as a standout pass rusher.
