BREAKING NEWS: Lakers Rule Out another key Player for Game 3 Against Timberwolves

After tied the series 1-1 with a Game 2 victory on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Lakers will meet up with the Minnesota Timberwolves for Game 3 on Friday. This is the first game of the series in Minnesota, so the Lakers will aim to sneak a victory on the road to take a series lead. Game 3 will be critical for both teams, with the winner taking a 2-1 series lead.

Given that both teams are capable of making a deep postseason run this season, winning every game from here on is critical. This is especially true for the Lakers, who only have two home games remaining in the series.

Ahead to Game 3, the Lakers announced an injury to one of their players.

To win their first-round series against the Timberwolves, the Lakers need to be as healthy as possible. Unfortunately, they recently confirmed that Maxi Kleber will miss Game 3 while recovering from foot surgery.

The Lakers acquired Kleber from the Dallas Mavericks earlier this season as part of the massive Luka Doncic transaction. However, the German native is yet to make his squad debut following foot surgery. Kleber hasn’t played since January.
