BREAKING NEWS: San Antonio Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama Reveals Return Dates Amid Victor Wembanyama Training…

The San Antonio Spurs had their 2024-25 NBA season turned upsidedown twice this year. First, famed head coach Gregg Popovich suffered a stroke and was not able to return to the sidelines, and then a blood clot ended Victor Wembanyama’s season during the All-Star Break.

The Spurs and Wembanyama appear optimistic about his return, and it is expected that he will play for the French National Team at EuroBasket this summer.

However, all reports have come from Spurs or French officials, never from Wembanyama himself, who broke his silence for the first time.

He has expressed a strong desire to return to the court, but he has yet to be cleared for contact. As always, he wishes to do more, but he agrees with medical personnel and follows their orders.

“I’m able to do hard work, hard lifting, and also basketball work, but it’s all very controlled and light, even though sometimes I feel like I would like to do more,” said the athlete on Sunday. “It’s a logial medical direction, so I trust the process and I trust the medical staff.”
Wembanyama stated that he is on pace, neither ahead nor behind his projected comeback date.
