SEALED DEAL: Raiders Land $79 Million All-Pro WR in a Two-Way Deal….

Despite wide receiver being one of the Las Vegas Raiders’ most pressing needs this summer, the team has made no moves to improve the position. Free agency began a month ago, and the organization has not signed anyone prominent at the position.

There are still some possibilities accessible. When the Seattle Seahawks released Tyler Lockett, the Raiders appeared like an obvious choice.

He spent the majority of his career playing under Pete Carroll and has a great relationship with the coach. He may be 32 years old, but he might be a great WR3 or WR4 for a team like the Oakland Raiders. However, he is still a free agent.

While Lockett has yet to sign anywhere, Vic Tafur of The Athletic predicts he will wind up in Las Vegas.

“I believe there are some experienced receivers available in this market…” I still think Tyler Lockett will end up here. I think he’s waiting to see how this market plays out, and I think Stefon Diggs was the final domino to fall,” Tafur said on the “Just Win” podcast.

“He certainly got more than people expected him to receive, so I believe Keenan Allen and Amari Cooper are waiting to see if they can get something close to that, and Lockett is probably following that. I believe they will add an experienced wide receiver to the mix at some point, as their depth at the position is currently lacking. “I believe you need another one before the draft.”
