
The Green Bay Packers announced on Thursday that they have signed cornerback Nate Hobbs, who will wear No. 21.
By the numbers:
Hobbs, entering his fifth season out of Illinois, was drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Over four seasons, he played in 51 games, starting 38 of them.
According to Spotrac.com, Hobbs’ contract is a four-year deal worth $48 million, including a $16 million signing bonus.

Throughout his career, Hobbs has recorded 278 total tackles (199 solo), three sacks, 14 tackles for loss, three interceptions, 19 passes defensed, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. His average of 5.45 tackles per game from 2021-2024 ranked second on the team (minimum 30 games played), and his 14 tackles for loss were the most among the team’s secondary during that span.
In 2023, Hobbs set career highs with 86 tackles, seven passes defensed, and six tackles for a loss.
