Michigan State has secured another commitment ahead of the busy spring unofficial visit period. Eli Bickel, a 2026 three-star offensive tackle from North Branch, Michigan, has committed to the Spartans. The 6-foot-7 prospect is ranked as the 46th-best offensive tackle in the nation.
Bickel has been a key target for MSU’s offensive line coach Jim Michalczik for several months, and the Spartans were able to secure his commitment before the recruiting process intensifies. He chose MSU over offers from Northwestern and Cincinnati, and currently holds eight offers, including interest from Ivy League schools.
With this commitment, Michigan State’s 2026 class now includes four verbal pledges: four-star tight end Eddie Whiting (South Dakota), three-star tight end Joey Caudill (Ohio), and three-star quarterback Kayd Coffman (Michigan), bringing the total number of commitments to four ahead of the spring visit season.
