Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby is eager to team up with Aaron Rodgers in 2025.
On his podcast, Crosby expressed his belief that Rodgers is set for a strong comeback this season, with Las Vegas being an ideal destination for him.
“Recovering from an Achilles injury in the first year is incredibly tough,” Crosby said, referring to Rodgers’ disappointing 2024 campaign. “With all the criticism and doubts around him, people saying he should retire or that he’s done, and even with the Jets potentially cutting him, I think he’s going to bounce back and have a big year. I know he’s 41 or 42, but I really think this year will be huge for him, and I hope it’s with us.”
Despite Rodgers turning 41 last season and playing some of his worst football, Crosby believes his Achilles injury was the root cause of his struggles. He is confident that a healthy and motivated Rodgers will be a different player this season.
“Fully healthy, with a full offseason, I predict he’ll have a fantastic year,” Crosby added.
The Raiders attempted to acquire Matthew Stafford from the Rams but were unsuccessful. If they shift focus to another veteran quarterback, Crosby hopes it will be Rodgers.
