Stilez Robertson recently had surgery on his wrist to repair ligament damage he sustained during qualifying at the San Diego Supercross in January. This injury is related to the same wrist he hurt in 2023, which caused him to miss all of 2024. It has been confirmed that the Triumph Racing rider will miss the rest of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season and is focusing on a comeback for the AMA Pro Motocross Championship. Robertson’s only main event appearance this season was a 20th-place finish at Anaheim 1.
Jalek Swoll is also out for the Supercross season due to an Achilles tendon injury, although he attended the Tampa SX to sign autographs and take photos with fans. This leaves Jordon Smith (250SX West Division) and Austin Forkner (250SX East Division) as the remaining riders for the team.
Robertson shared the following message on Instagram:
“Not much to say, didn’t even crash but tore a ligament in my wrist, making it unstable. It’s the same wrist I injured in 2023, so I’m not sure if the ligament was already damaged or if it gave out after I over-jumped in San Diego. Surgery went well, and I’m on the road to recovery now. Thanks to everyone who’s supported me and my heart and to all the keyboard warriors—didn’t try to get hurt again, but injuries are part of the sport. I’d much rather be racing and riding than sitting here with my wrist throbbing :joy:”
