BREAKING NEWS: Official: Real Madrid starting lineup against Manchester City | Champions League

BREAKING NEWS: Real Madrid will be gunning to book their place in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League when they take on Manchester City in the second leg of their knockout playoffs tonight.

Ahead of kickiff at the Santiago Bernabeu under two hours, manager Carlo Ancelotti has announced the starting lineup for the game. The big news is that key defender Antonio Rudiger has returned from injury and starts at the heart of the Real Madrid backline, pairing up with Raul Asencio.

Even though Lucas Vazquez is in the squad, he is not ready to start yet and as a result, Federico Valverde continues at right-back while Ferland Mendy starts on the left side, with Thibaut Courtois in goal.

Rudiger’s return to the lineup means Aurelien Tchouameni moves to his regular position in the middle of the park for Real Madrid, where he partners Dani Ceballos.
