A substantial amount of cap space remains available to the Packers if they choose to do so or if they need to do so. To win a championship next year, Gutekunst has talked about boosting the sense of urgency, therefore investing in the roster is a sensible next step:
In 2025, the Packers have $42.14 million in anticipated cap space. That’s before altering any deal, but also before re-signing any free agents or adding anyone. Green Bay could address many areas of vulnerability through free agency this off-season. That should include pass rush, cornerbacks, and wide receivers.
