Tennessee DL signee Isaiah Campbell is currently a 5-star prospect according to On3.
Campbell was initially committed to Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers, but he pulled out and began focused on the Vols and North Carolina. Because he is a North Carolina native, many people expected him to sign with the Tar Heels.

However, Campbell startled many people when he revealed that he was playing for Tennessee, which was obviously a tremendous coup for Heupel and his staff. Campbell received 36 offers throughout his recruitment, choosing the Vols over UNC, Clemson, Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, and many more.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Campbell, a 6-4, 280-pound defensive lineman, is the No. 6 defensive lineman in the country for his class and the No. 2 North Carolina player. He has a promising future ahead of him, and the good news for the Vols is that he will arrive in Knoxville with a chip on his shoulder.

Landing the coveted fifth star is something many prospects dream about. Following an outstanding senior season, Campbell was able to demonstrate to everyone why he was such a coveted target for teams around the country. Vols supporters are excited to see what he accomplishes in 2025 and beyond.
