Derrick Singletary, a 6-foot-2.5, 220-pound junior linebacker from Middletown, Ohio, received his first Power Four offer from West Virginia this week.
“I know that Coach Rodriguez is a great coach and I can 100% see myself in his system for the next three to four years,” he told me.
The Bulls made an offer to Singletary after he visited Buffalo on Saturday. He is going to Bowling Green next weekend.
He also claims Louisville, Virginia, and Indiana have been in contact.
Singletary is worth keeping an eye on after recording 10.5 sacks as a junior. He also holds a 3.8 GPA in the classroom.
He is a three-star linebacker who has played inside, outside, and on the edge.
